Booking takes five steps on one form, and it’s confirmed straight away. Nothing is paid online: you pay at our Auburn workshop once it’s done, and we give you a quote before the inspection if your vehicle needs more.

1. Your vehicle

Pick what you’re bringing in: a car, SUV, ute, van, motorcycle, or caravan or trailer. For a caravan or trailer, say whether it has brakes, because that sets the price. Then type the make and model.

2. What you need

Choose the service: a blue slip, a pink slip, a logbook service, a pink slip and logbook service together, or repairs. Each shows its base price for your vehicle. A pink slip also needs the number plate, and for repairs you tell us what it needs.

3. Your PPSR check, for a blue slip

A blue slip asks how you’d like the PPSR check done. Search the vehicle’s VIN at ppsr.gov.au yourself and bring the certificate, or add our check for $10 and we’ll do it. What a PPSR check is explains it.

4. The day and time

Pick a weekday, then the morning (9am to 12pm), the afternoon (12pm to 4pm) or both. We book you in at the first free hour in what you picked, and your confirmation gives the time.

5. Your details, then book

Add your name, mobile and email, and book. It’s confirmed straight away, and we text and email your confirmation. Keep it with you on the way in. Nothing is paid online.

What to bring

  • Your driver licence
  • Proof you own the vehicle, such as a receipt or bill of sale
  • Old rego papers or interstate papers, if you have them
  • The compliance certificate for any modifications, if it has one
  • Your PPSR certificate, if you’re bringing your own

On the day

Come to 196 Parramatta Road, Auburn, at the time on your confirmation. If the vehicle can’t be driven in safely, we can tow it here: call us for a price.

The price you saw is the base price for the vehicle. Depending on the vehicle and its modifications, it may need a design check, which costs extra. An imported vehicle’s blue slip is $191, or $99 for a motorcycle, and its design check is quoted on the day. We’ll give you a quote before we do the inspection.

You pay at the workshop, by cash or card, once it’s done. An inspection’s fee is the same whether the vehicle passes or fails.
