Mechanical repairs in Auburn

Brakes, batteries, steering and warning lights. You get the price before we start.

Repairs depend on the vehicle and its parts, so we give you the price once we’ve seen it.

What we fix

  • Brakes
  • Batteries
  • Steering and suspension
  • Warning lights and fault finding
  • Whatever failed its blue slip or pink slip

How a repair works here

Tell us what’s wrong, whether it’s a noise, a warning light or a failed inspection, and bring it to the workshop.

We’ll find out what it needs and give you the price. Nothing gets done until you’ve said yes, and you’re free to have the work done elsewhere.

Who does the work?

In NSW, a business that repairs cars has to hold a motor vehicle repairer licence, and everyone it employs has to be qualified and certified for the repair work they do.

We hold that licence: NSW Lic No. MVRL62214.

What a repair costs

Priced once we’ve seen it

There’s no set price, because it depends on the vehicle and its parts. You’re free to take it elsewhere.

How we price it

  • The price before we start
  • Nothing done without your OK
  • Our workmanship guaranteed for 3 months or 5,000 km, whichever comes first

What we don’t do

  • Roadside repairs or call-outs
  • Visits to your home or work

Before you come in

We’re at 196 Parramatta Road, Auburn. Weekdays 8am to 4pm.
  • How long it takes

It depends on the job and the parts, so we’ll tell you once we’ve seen the vehicle.

  • What to bring

    • The vehicle and its keys
    • What you’ve noticed, such as when the noise starts or which light is on
    • The inspection report, if it failed one
  • How soon you can come in

Pick a day and a time window: morning (9am to 12pm), afternoon (12pm to 4pm) or both. Today and tomorrow show first when they’re free, and you can book up to 12 weeks ahead. Your confirmation gives the time you’re booked in for.

Fixing what failed an inspection

Bring the report with you. It sets out why the vehicle failed, so we can quote that work.

If we did the inspection, get the vehicle back to us within 14 days and the second inspection has no inspection fee.

Questions about repairs

Can’t see yours? Ask us a question, or call or text.

No. All repairs are done at the workshop, and we don’t do roadside call-outs. If the vehicle can’t be driven in safely, we can tow it to our workshop. Call us for a price.

Towing

Tell us what the vehicle is doing and we’ll say whether it’s something we can take on.

No. If it failed an inspection, any licensed repairer can do the work, and it comes back to us for the second inspection.
