These are base prices for the vehicle. Additional costs may apply depending on the specifications or modifications of your vehicle. Depending on the vehicle and its modifications, we may need to do a design check, which costs extra. An imported vehicle’s blue slip is $191, or $99 for a motorcycle, and its design check is quoted on the day. We’ll give you a quote before we do the inspection. Our inspection prices follow Transport for NSW’s fees notice for the Authorised Inspection Scheme. How our fees work

These depend on the vehicle and its parts. Book a time, and we give you the price and get your OK before we start.
How booking works
Step 1: Book online
Pick a day and a time window. That confirms your booking straight away.
Step 2: Keep your confirmation
We text and email it to you with the time you’re booked in for. It shows the vehicle is booked in for its inspection, so keep it with you on the way in.
Step 3: Bring it to Auburn
Come to 196 Parramatta Road at the time on your confirmation. Allow up to an hour for a blue slip, or 30 to 45 minutes for a pink slip.
Step 4: Get your result and pay
A pass gives you your pink slip or blue slip report. If something needs fixing, we show you what. Either way, you pay by cash or card once it’s done.

A blue slip is $82 and a pink slip is $52 for a car, SUV, ute or van. For a motorcycle they’re $51 and $29, and for a caravan or trailer $60 and $41 with brakes, or $42 and $27 without. Prices include GST, and you pay at the workshop, by cash or card. Additional costs may apply depending on the specifications or modifications of your vehicle.
Allow up to an hour for a blue slip, or 30 to 45 minutes for a pink slip. We book one vehicle an hour, so we’re ready for you when you arrive.
We’ll show you what needs fixing. Under NSW rules, if the repairs are done and the vehicle comes back to the same station within 14 days, there’s no fee for the second inspection.
